A group of alien botanists visited the earth. Because of the hasty take-off, one of the visitors was left behind. Elliot found the visitor and named it E.T. He took it in, gave it chocolate, and introduced it to his brother and sister. They became good friends.

一群外星人到地球来采集植物样本。因为起飞匆忙，其中的一个小外星人被同伴留在了地球上。艾略特发现它之后，给他取名E.T.。他收留了孤独无助的E.T.，给它吃巧克力，还把它介绍给自己的哥哥和妹妹。他们成为了好朋友。

One day, adults found E.T. and caught it. Elliot saved E.T. with his brother and friends’ help. At that time, an alien spaceship came to take E.T. back. E.T. would go home finally. Elliot said goodbye to E.T. and he would cherish their beautiful friendship forever…

有一天，大人们发现了E.T.，并抓走了它。艾里奥特在哥哥和伙伴们的帮助下终于救出了E.T.。这时，来接E.T.回去的外星飞船赶来了，E.T.终于可以回家了。艾里奥特恋恋不舍地和E.T.告别，他将永远记住这段美丽的友谊……
